I love flowers! These Hydrangea heads were from my garden last year, and I have now dried enough to make a photo backdrop. I enjoy watching the colours as they mute and fade, and this particular bloom is one that I’d like to reproduce in fabric. I have managed to create reasonable fabric Roses, Daisies, and Lilies, but this one is a bit harder to get right right.

This will be one of my first projects, once my web tidying and New Year admin tasks are completed!

Who’d like to learn how I make my fabric flowers?

I have decided to opt for a basic site layout for now, just so that I can work resetting and post some classes.

This means that there will be some boring blog posts, where I will be testing different areas of the site.

The main problem that I have is with mobile viewing, where menus disappear randomly.

Of course, this behaviour isn’t as odd as I make out – it will definitely be down my poor programming skills. By leaving a bland theme on the website, I will be (hopefully) able to track down the faulty areas, and fix it!

This post is to test that I can upload from my phone, so I will attach an image, as well.

I’d hoped that this January’s Blog Posts would be full of exciting Workshop News! However, having broken the site, it will mostly be messages like these – testing to see if it’s working again!

It’s Saturday the 4th, and so far it’s limping back. The Calendar appears to be working, and so does the blog, but the other pages aren’t playing the game.

Please bear with me, while I try and fix this. I may give up and just start posting Workshop Dates in the Classes section for now. So, if you’d like to join a class, checkout the Calendar to see if I have succeeded in posting any!
