I thought I’d get so much done in Lockdown, for example, updating my website and doing my tax returns before December. None of that happened, mainly because April, May and June were spent sewing Scrubs!
Now we’re trying to get used to a “New Normal”, and that will soon include the wearing of Face Coverings. So, it’s back to the Sewing Machine!
I have spent quite a bit of time creating a comfortable fit pattern, using breatheable fabrics and incorporating an aluminum nose clip. This has had many modifications, but the resulting design is fully washable, with adjustable elastic ear loops.
The first batches are in my online shop now, in practical easy care fabrics. If they prove popular, I will add some more styles, but all will be practical and easy care.
